40 SSB was okay earlier in the morning. I did about 140 between 9 and 11 but it was very very slow at times. And noisy. I think N3MN did okay in the 8-9 hour. Hoping thunderstorms don’t mess us up later today. 73, Kay N3KN

I operated 40 meters from 2 to 4.? It was pleasant with few pileups that were only about 3.? I was able to get everyone.? I got relieved by KG4DTM at 4 pm without trouble.? She continued and started to pick up contacts shortly thereafter.?

I am only missing Georga and have not seen any spots for K2G.

I just got Connecticut this evening.? He was mostly operating western states on 20 meters and the east coast was too week.? Suddenly his signal went from S3 to S9 plus 10 dB and I got him immediately.

I’m the one described as “smoking signal into GA.”

Shortly after the last spot at 14.304, I was swamped and went looking for a new frequency….

You definitely would not have wanted that frequency!
