Please see draft of 2023 K2B QSL card.
The theme is signers of the Declaration.
The idea was to get away from the battle / military aspect, and maybe add a hint of educational content.
With seven signers from Virginia, it seemed TJ was the obvious choice.
I understand some wokesters won't appreciate TJ -- or any of the other founding fathers.
But maybe there can still be one day where we put that stuff aside.
I was going to put in that TJ's first draft condemned slavery, but there's not much upside to getting into that discussion.

The card is fine. Perhaps you already have this in mind: a series that highlights a different Revolutionary Virginian each year? It would be quite a series!
Perhaps everyone already know this. But it’s interesting to consider?the blurb TJ wrote for his own?tombstone:
Author of the Declaration of American Independence, of the Statute of Virginia for religious freedom, and Father of the University of Virginia.
That’s how we wanted to be memorialized, and as he wrote, “not a word more.”?

Hi!? I think the foto on the left is all you need for the front of the QSL, with just "7 signers of the Declararion of Independence were Virginians"? as the text accompanying the group foto.? No need to focus on Jefferson at all.

David, I think the draft is fine. As Daveed Diggs, the actor who originated the role of TJ in “Hamilton” on Broadway said about how it felt to be a Black man portraying a slave owner, TJ was a complicated, flawed human being. I read about others having pileups.? I have not had any.? I think it is the time of day on 20 meters with a lot of QSB.
Operating 160 meters was interesting.? There was a lot of noise and signals were weak and difficult to copy.? I did not get many contacts but those who got me were very appreciative that K2B was on 160 meters.
I got a clean sweep so I can concentrate on operating as K2B.
