Trailer for Eco 5

I'm having a heck of a time finding a trailer for my soon-to-be-finished Eco 5. A small pontoon trailer seems like it would work, but here on the west coast of the U.S. they're hard to find or order, and often not galvanized in the smaller sizes. And crazy expensive these days as well. The trailers that are sold for catamarans seem to be designed for specific models, such as Hobies and such.

Does anyone have and advice, or different ideas about the type of trailer to get?

Thanks in advance,
Jim

Hi Jim
Think about a flatbed trailer. You can build one very easily.
Here is an address for all the trailer parts.

I know, it is extra work, But a possibility

Hi Jim

I got my Duo 480 trailer custom built by a company that amongst other designs, does most of the beach cats here (Hobie etc). They have one builder who does all the cat trailers. I gave him the plans for my boat, had a talk with him and he got it done. For very little more than a Hobie 16 trailer. As a result it is easy to tow, easy to beach launch as well as at a ramp.? Have a look at my photos on this site. I can send you more privately if you wish

cheers
Bryan

I think I've found a suitable trailer, though I may have to have it customized a bit, as Bryan (thanks!) has described.
