Moderated Suwalki Gap update: DUO 800

 

For those who follow Suwalki Gap standoff - here my little contribution to the safety of the world. An airborne transport and water landing of a highly specialised craft.

Mazury - or jeziora mazurskie - infrastructure is good for monohulls. I failed to find ramp of sufficient width.
Otherwise - great space for a few days sailing. Countless ports, bays, islands and plenty of friendly people.

I expected something like that. Good that the boat is so light.
Where is it precise you are sailing? Is it the haff on the Baltic sea?
I hope you show us pictures and videos? from your journey

Hi, a good method is to also go to a gently sloping beach and launch with rollers, You can also wait for a tide to come in. Enjoy your boat.

Wielkie Jeziora Mazurskie or Mazurian lakes, it's about 3,5 hours drive from Warsaw. And I need to be close by due to a familly situation.?
 

Now I get it. Yes, that is a big and beautiful sail region.

Very cool (literally). Your sailing season lasts much longer than ours. The lakes are covered with ice and this morning the temperature with the wind chill factored in is -24C.
