Welding Aluminium is not easy. But the shown weld is perfect.?

Very impressive and professional!? Will there be an "endcap" on the top against twisting? Or is it supposed to have flex? Greetings, Hans
 

Hi Hans on the top top must have some flexibility

At 8.70 MT above there will be (either side) two dynema cables ahead and behind at 2.80 MT from the base of the mast. This is to avoid creating diamond shapes since it does not interfere with the self-tacking jib...

You need the diamond shrouds. Otherwise, you get buckling of
the masts.
