A Left handed Archtop
Hi,
I have recently bought an Epiphone Dot left-handed, but am actually a bit disapointed with it. As i'm about to sell it to buy another guitar, i'd like to call for your advice on the matter. My choice is quite limited, because: 1 - I'm left-handed; 2 - I Live in Portugal, i've got very few options in music stores; unless i order it from the Internet; 3 - My budget for it is up to 600-700$, not more. What i'd like is something similar to an ES-175 in shape, not, for instance another 335 kind of model. What do you suggest in terms of a) models and b) places to buy in the Internet / music stores that sell on-line and can ship to Portugal ? thanks and kind regards, André Rodrigues [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
You might consider taking a look at or contacting Kurt at
He is very conscientious and quick to respond. He has had archtops on his site don't know about now. These are chinese knockoffs. The higher priced less pauls are highly regarded on the Les Paul forum. Living and playing outside the box. On Nov 11, 2010, at 12:30 PM, Andr Rodrigues P. Buying an Epiphone can be a lottery nowadays.

Some are good and others not so - depending upon where they are made, I have seen real variation in quality. The better Epis were made by Samick so their guitars are a better bet check out.. Will
