Sticky Welcome 14
Welcome all. As it says on the label, this is a place for discussing all things Yokogawa. Once I figure out paying for upgrading to a plan with storage, I'll set up the files section with some basic rules. Mostly just "Make a folder with the model number and put the stuff in there" instead of just dumping files everywhere. I am located in Japan, so I am able to talk directly to Yokogawa here so I am able to help a little, but I make no promises or guarantees. :) And lastly, the golden rule here is: Be excellent to each other. Sansei DMM2650 aka thandar TM451 - I'd love to find a service manual for calibration. 2
Hey, gang! I bought a great little DMM bargain in the form of a thandar TM451 (4? digit) and the calibration is not far out, but it looks a little complicated to do. Opening it up shows a few boards all marked DMM2650 - so a search found that it was probably made by Sansei - but there's also a SIXING branded one from China... https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Sansei+DMM2650&atb=v273-1&ia=images I also found 5 interesting pages of a Chinese guide I think I have some hints from the service manual for the thandar TM351 (3? digit) - it seems to have complications like frequency compensation in the AC ranges. Thanks, Q.

Iwatsu 8000 series mainframes
Hey, Hope your all well, I am looking for any information on the Iwatsu 8000 series mainframe scopes. I recently obtained a Iwatsu Mainframe and Spectrum Analyzer plug-in unit. While I was able to repair them to the point where they are seemingly functional, I have no information on them. Basically i'm trying to hunt down a manual and/or cal procedure specifically for the spectrum analyzer as it seems to have "quirks" which may be issues. These seem to be very rare in the UK and so id like to be able to maintain it forever hopefully. The SS-8120 is a 100MHz 1980's era mainframe supporting 3 plug in units.I was able to find a hard-copy of a manual for this which i do intend to scan and archive somewhere online (any ideas where?).Iwatsu also made a storage scope version and several plugins all of which equally have little documentation. The A-880 is a 20Hz-11MHz swept spectrum analyzer with built in RAM storage to work in non storage scopes. It it well built with no custom IC's and using all japanese parts. And thats about all i can find. I can find zero manuals for the SA, at the same time i cant even find evidence if iwatsu ever selling it. I cant even find any spectrum analyzers sold my iwatsu. If anyone has any information at all, on the mainframes, plugins, iwatsu in general id appreciate it as id hate these instruments to be lost to time. Thank-You Isaac Walsh

Help re Anritsu MG3642 maintenance manual please. 2
Help is sought to locate a Anritsu MG3642 maintenance manual please. or the service manual. Considering purchase but like to own a service manual for ANY product I have. Never know when simple things need doing. However that policy is getting harder as time and products get more sophisticated. However cant stop trying to abide my own rules. Maxwelloau PS I have discovered it is a "W1137BE Maintenance manual" if that helps.

Meguro MAK-6610 Audio Analyzer HELP 2
Hi all, For almost 10 years I have been searching for the service manual for a Meguro MAK-6610 Audio Analyzer. I have one in non working condition and have been dreaming of getting it to run someday. If anyone has any idea where I could find such manual please let me know. Meguro itself wont help and said I should just trash it since they cannot provide any manuals or service since its discontinued. I¡¯m getting desperate by now after 10 years of non stop searching. If you google, all results are from posts made by myself in the last years. Thank you! Att., Bernardo Santos

Leader LJM-1851 jitter meter service manual request and/or help with mains voltage selection 10
Hello to all, I am in search of a service manual for a Leader LJM-1851 CD Jitter Meter. This LJM-1851 is a US 120V version, the backplane shows fuse specifics for mains voltage ranges up to 263V. The mains voltage in my country, the Netherlands, is 240V. I would love to use this Japanese jitter meter without a stepdown transformer. Inside the meter it shows a transformer which (in my opinion) is uncommonly wired. Not sure if it is possible to use the same transformer for 240V mains. Maybe someone can help me out on how to connect the mains wires to the transformer to use it on 240V mains. Help much appreciated! Kindest regards, Alex Edited after successfully changed wiring: Istv¨¢n was 100% right, the transformer has two separate primary windings which can put in series. Thank you very much Istv¨¢n for pointing me to this! These are the parameters for 100V, 120V and 240V mains: Two coils in parallel, connected between 1 and 3, is for 120V use Two coils in parallel, connected between 1 and 2, is for 100V use Two coils in series, connected between 1 and 3 > 1 and 3, is for 240V use It works like a charm!

Wanted: Plea for hints or help with documentation for the Panasonic VP-5740P
I'm amazed at the dearth of info! I've googled quite a bit and found only a couple of mentions - I'll upload the 1989 advert page I found. I have a Panasonic VP-5740P - it's pretty groovy with large CRT and readout. Was apparently around $10,000 when it was new. I wonder if there's any info you have to help unlock any doors... The scope seems to run pretty well. The fan is noisy, so that's an easy fix - but if there's a fault, it's in the HT power as the screen seems to dim a little after a few minutes... If we can't find info, I suppose my task will be to document as much as I can when I open it :-) Cheers, Q.
