Murphy's Law in S'vale tonight is the site of the longest running, uninterrupted, musicians jam in the Deep South Bay Area. I could not say this if it were not true. And the incredible thing is that Dennis Dove, Johnny Cat, and myself (Mike "Pops" Phillips) have been the house band since day one (20+yrs). It was started at a time when there were only two places to play, JJ's and Princeton Landing w/Stan. Now, there are jams seven nights a week and twice on Sunday. Musicianship has gotten incredibly good and younger people are beginning to notice. Behavior has been modified and egos diminished to "well mannered". Come out tonight and participate, 135 Murphy Avenue, S'vale, 8:30-12:30. No sign up sheet, bring your axe and join the fold. It's been described as church but the music is the message.
