2018 is well under way and we have some fun things coming up, starting with this Friday, Feb. 2 at the Smoking Pig BBQ Company. Saxophonist Noel Catura (Chris Cain Band alumnus & Selmer Saxophones Endorsee) joins us, along with Randy Hayes (also a Chris Cain Band alumnus) on drums, and ex Navy Band bassist Pat T on bass. After the OPL changed hands, the Jam moved between American Legion Post 474, McGovern's Bar in San Mateo, and even The Pete Douglas Beach House in Miramar, CA -- officially moving to American Legion Post 474 on Easter Sunday 4/20/2014, a date coinciding with the Legion's 80th Birthday. Things move along at fun high quality levels and reasonable volumes, with a variety of tunes, styles, and players. The full bar offers reasonably priced beverages, and food is usually available for purchase.
