PCT Section G & H Trek & Rae Lakes Campsites

So, in late June I started an epic PCT Section G and H NOBO trek. Didn't quite have the stamina and willpower to do the whole thing (going past Kearsarge Pass was always a long shot from the very beginning of planning, but I kept it on the schedule since... what the heck, it's there). BUT am planning on hitting the trail again next weekend from Onion Valley.
?
Only have the first 6 days for the early part of the trek written up so far, but you can find how I did from Walker Pass to Kennedy Meadows and if I survived or not (no spoilers :) ). Don't think I'll have time to write up ALL of the rest of the days before I hit the trail again, but maybe I'll have some time this weekend to do some of the days.

?
I actually had my NOBO daily mileage and campsite wish list written up within a couple months of finishing the JMT SOBO in 2020, so just had to tweak it.
?
Unfortunately, I don't know if I'll be able to stop at Rae lakes. Since I've taken a Zero Month instead just a Zero day or two, I'm going to have to get re-acclimatized to the elevation (probably at a Mammoth hotel). So, may have to stop before Glen Pass (or maybe even Kearsarge Lakes to start with a short day and acclimatize more there) to camp the first night if I can't push to Rae lakes on the first day (12-13 miles for my first day cold start on the trail is a bit long for me).
?
But I still wanted to ask here about people's favorite Rae Lakes campsites and why they are their favorites in case I do make it there for a night.

Does anyone have some info on long term parking in Mammoth? I'm thinking of taking the ESTA bus to Independence and then a shuttle to Onion Valley. If I left my car in Mammoth, then it's just a YARTS bus ride from Yosemite (if I go that far) or quick exit if I leave the trail at Mammoth.

I think the parking along the road near Mammoth Mountain isn't restricted to long term parking, but not sure about other options in Mammoth.

I’ve always parked at the Mammoth Mountain Ski area designated for overnight parking!

Scroll down on the landing page, then scroll right on the maps to the second one.? Park downhill from Area B on Minaret Vista Road, ski hill side.? Make sure your car is very clean from a bear standpoint - no smells, no food, no coolers.

Thanks. That's what I thought, but it's nice to get confirmation.

Anyone have a favorite shuttle driver who's reliable that they could recommend? I'm thinking it might be easier to just take a shuttle ride from my Jeep to Onion Valley thank dealing with a bus and local shuttle from Independence.
