Does anyone know if this is fully open. It is just that the Tamarack fire really does not get statused very much because of its extreme remoteness between Raymond Lake and Wet Meadows area south of Carson, north of Ebbets and Kinney Lakes. Does anyone know anything?

Well Stanislaus Forest is open so you can get up to Blue Lakes Road but not the entire way to Carson Pass. The Placerville Ranger Station noted to me yesterday and it is posted on PCTA that The Pacific Crest Trail is closed from about Blue Lakes Road near mile 1066 to where the Tahoe Rim Trail leaves the PCT near Twin Peaks around mile 1129.7.

The ranger said this area should open September 30, but always check back.
