Coleman made a foray into the white gas backpacking stoves in
the 90's.? I read a very positive review and bought one.? Really, I
wasn't disappointed.? Broad solid base, wide flame, stable pot stand,
widely variable flame.? What you would expect from Coleman.? The
emphasis is on functionality, not state-of-the-art tech.
I took it on one trip and just didn't get comfortable with the fuel
delivery system, which appears to me to be identical to the MSR
Whisperlite system.? If I'd seen the current crop of youtube videos
on the Coleman stove, I might have been more patient with it.
Anyway, almost new, free to you.? I just ask you to pay shipping.
