JAG 1965 Free agents ALL BIDS DUE by 10 AM EST Tuesday 12/12

I have attached a sheet with all the free agents on it and a copy of the contract master showing all your players under contract for 1966 and beyond.

Upcoming Free agency

Hello all
Congratulations?to our World Champion Joel and to Bob for a great series and season.

How will Free Agency work?
1. I will be sending out a list of all available free agents.

2. Each general manager will submit a list of the free agents they wish to sign and for how many years they want to sign them for.
You may bid on as many players as you want but be very careful not to overextend yourself because you are committed to sign all the FA's you win. Remember you have limited contract years available and the draft?will start shortly after free agency ends.

How are the winners determined?
1 the team that offers the FA the most years will sign him.
2 TIES if the tie bid is between 1-4 years he will resign with his original team as the Hometown discount. IF his previous team is not one of the tied teams then all the tied teams will have a chance to offer up a draft pick in the upcoming draft. The earliest pick offered will sign him and forfeit?the pick.
3 If the bid is 5 years or the final years of the?player's career the hometown discount does not apply and the winner will be determined by draft picks offered.
4 you may only bid upto the players final year. If the last year of a player's career is 1968 the max bid allowed would be 3 years.

If you end up with too many players or contract years you will have to make some trades to get back to 85 years by opening day.

Let me know if you have any questions

Dev

Re: 1965 PLAYOFFS

Thanks Dev. Playoff usage restrictions are in the constitution on the website. Remember, for hitters, its games played, not plate?
appearances. We will like to change this after the year, to make it consistent with the regular season.
