J-Say Update
开云体育J-Say has been updated. This is a critical update for people using Windows11. Every one of the thousands of voice commands has been adjusted to take account of a problem which occurs under certain conditions. Previously, there were times when JAWS speech was being cut off when a voice command was spoken. It is suggested that people using Windows11 update to this latest build. ? I would like to thank probably the most experienced J-Say user we have, who is a list member, who employed considerable patience in terms of testing while this technique was perfected. ? There are some people who need help in updating J-Say. If that is you, please let us know. ? There will be one or two further updates to J-Say 21 as and when we learn about problems especially with Windows11 or Dragon 16. But the next major J-Say update will be for JAWS 2024. We now have access to that and the J-Say for it is being worked on now in readiness for its release later this year. ? Brian Hartgen Hartgen Consultancy. 开云体育What you ought to be able to do is to go to the J-Say configuration wizard with the J-Say key then W, and select the last item, check for updates. I did it this morning to check it worked. The new version should then come down and you can install it. When the computer restarts thereafter, it will say build 15. If that does not work for you, please let me know off list. ? ?
