I've recovered an old photograph identified as Petter Anton WALLE which was taken at the Iver I. Floe Studio in Blue Earth City, MN. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with Petter appearing to be in his 20's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Petter and his family: Peter “Pete” Anton Christiansen WALLE was b. 14 Dec 1869 near Delavan, MN to parents Christian Johnson WALLE (1827-1905) and Beret or Berit or Bertha or Betsy Andersdotter VOLD (1831-1909) who were both born in Bergen, Norway and married in Norway around 1857. The couple’s first 5 children were born in Norway and the four others in the USA. Peter married Maria or Marie Torinna or Torinea STEFFANSON or STEFFENSEN or STEFENSON (1879-1969) on 25 Mar 1908 in Eden Township, Winnebago Co., IA. They had three children including Christine or Christina or Christiana Bertina WALLE JACOBSON (1909-1992); Anna Serena or Serine WALLE; and Bernice Jenetta or Jennette WALLE SIMONSON (1912-2000). Peter died 19 Apr 1931 in Eden Township, Winnebago Co., IA and is buried in the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Scarville, IA. At the time of his death the following siblings survived him, Ole Bastian Christian WALLE of Lamoure Co., ND; Christian “Chris” C. WALLE of Eden Township, Winnebago Co., IA; Edward “Ed” Conley WALLE of Eden Township, Winnebago Co., IA. HUNT Family Photographs

I've "rescued" three old photographs including two of Norene Lillian HUNT which were taken at the Arthur A. Bentley Studio in Fargo, ND when she was just one year old on 11 Aug 1897. The third photograph is of Orene Jennett HUNT which was taken at the Helgesen Studio in Lake Mills, IA sometime in the 1900's when she was age 5 months and 5 days old. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding the girls and their families: Norene or Norine Lillian or Lilian HUNT was b. 11 Aug 1896 in Fargo, ND to parents John Albert HUNT (1856-1937) and Lillian Alleta EASON (1862-1928). Norene was one of 5 children born to these parents including, Ivan Emory; Alleta S.; Norene Lillian; Warren Walter; and George Eason HUNT, all born between 1889 and 1903. Norene married three times but appears to only have had children with Carl Ever LEANDER (1895-1940) and they had three children including, Doris Carliene; Harriet Noriene; and Phyllis Alleta LEANDER, all born between 1920 and 1931. Norene was also married to Ted O. HUNT; and also to Fred William MISFELDT (b. 1886) on 29 Aug 1944 in Clark Co., WA. Norene died 18 Aug 1982 in Granada Hills, CA. Orene HUNT was b. 1902 in Lake Mills, IA to parents Curtis L. HUNT (1867-1947) and Cora Lovenia OSMUNDSON (1880-1962). Orene had one sibling, Waubern Carrol HUNT (1903-1987). Orene married David Homer SINK (1907-1970) and they had two children. Orene married a second time and appears to have had another child. Orene died and is buried in the Lakeview Cemetery in Windom, MN.
