PUFFER - DOUBEK - PINTER Family Photograph
I've got an old studio photograph identified as Celia PUFFER which was taken at the C. Aminnoff Blomquist Studio in Cresco, IA in the early 1900's. Celia pictured in the photograph appears to be about 12 years old at the time the photograph was taken, maybe at her confirmation. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Celia and her family: Cecelia “Celia” or “Cellia” Louisa Mary PUFFER was b. 24 Feb 1907 in Fort Atkinson, IA to parents Mathias Joseph PUFFER (1881-1968) and Mary Ann DOUBEK (1877-1951) who were married 8 Nov 1904 in Fort Atkinson, IA. Celia was one of 6 children born to this couple including Vaclav M.; Celia; Gothlib Mathias; Bernard Mathias; Marie A.; and Leo Joseph PUFFER, all born between 1905 and 1917. Celia married Frank E. PINTER (1901-1982) on 17 Nov 1925 in Fort Atkinson, IA and they had a son, Donald Francis PINTER Sr. (1934-2009). Celia died 5 Jan 1995 in Fort Atkinson, IA and is buried in the Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Little Turkey, IA. I’d like to get this treasure to a family member and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or you know someone who might be. Thanks, Shelley

Charlie was one of four children born to these parents including James Joseph; Francio “Frank” Frederick; Charlie; and Adeline or Adala Mary DOUBEK, all born between 1904 and 1912. MOORE - FRISBIE Family photograph
I have in my possession an old studio photograph of two children identified as Donald MOORE and Ella MOSEY of Nevinville, IA which was taken in the early 1900's with the two appearing to be about 6-12 years old at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding the two children: Victor Donald MOORE was b. 18 May 1895 in Nevinville or Lime Springs, IA to parents John Fortune or Fortense MOORE (1854-1938) and Florence Elizabeth FRISBIE (1861-1951) OR George William MOORE (b. 1871) and Minnie or Mannie Myrtle GEIER (1875-1971). Victor Donald was one of 7 children born to this couple including Ida Maude; Floyd William; Earl W.; Ashton John; Florence F.; Victor Donald; and Donald P. MOORE, all born between 1879 and 1899. Victor Donald married Clara Alma FARRINGTON (1894-1967) on 29 Aug 1918 in Sheridan, WY and they had four children including Leslie Donald; Guy Farrell; Raymond Robert; and Carma Genevieve MOORE, all born between 1920 and 1924. Victor Donald died 29 Apr 1960 in Sheridan, WY and is buried in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery in that city. Ella Dorey “Dora” MOSEY was b. 1 Nov 1891 in Orient, IA to Burton MOSEY (1838-1906) and Medora or Madora FOSTER (1855-1920) who were married in 1882. The couple had 7 children including Bertha Francis; Frederick “Fred”; Richard; Kezziah or Kessia “Kate” Ann; Jessie or Jesse Burton; Zella; and Ella Dorey “Dora” MOSEY, all born between 1882 and 1891. Dora married Dr. Carl Blaine ROBERTSON (1884-1953) in Des Moines, IA on 31 Mar 1938 and she died 18 Apr 1965 in Los Angeles Co., CA. I have no idea what the connection might be between the two children, maybe just family friends or neighbors. I am hoping to get the photograph back to a family member and would appreciate you contacting me at your earliest convenience if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be. Thanks, Shelley
