Re: MORRIS - ROBBINS or ROBYNS Family Photograph

Hi Shelley

I would also suggest you post this same info on the Van Buren County IAGenWeb Query Message Board. No account or password is needed. There is no way for you to include the photo but I can do that for you once the post is made.?

There is a Morris Park in the Stockport area.

MORRIS Family Photograph

I've recovered an old photograph of Glen MORRIS which was taken at the Wilcoxon Studio in Bonaparte, IA in the 1880's. Glen appears to be about one year old at the time. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Glen and his family:

?

Glen Wiley MORRIS was b. 28 Dec 1883 in Stockport, IA to parents James Henry MORRIS (1859-1934) and Henrietta or Henritta Hershel KIRKHART or KINKHART (1860-1950) who were married 27 Oct 1881 in Bloomfield, IA.? Glen was one of 7 children born to this couple including Harry S.; Leland Luther; Ralph J.; Ray Fisher; Retson Armstrong; Glen Wiley; and Ruby Matilda MORRIS, all born between 1883 and 1898.? Glen married Ethel Mamie PINNELL (1884 or 1885-1976) on 29 Nov 1905 in Milton, IA and they had two children including Everett William MORRIS (1906-1970) and Glenn Wiley MORRIS (1919-1944).? Glen died 15 Jun 1979 in Cedar Falls, IA and is buried in the Hillside Cemetery in Cedar Falls, IA.? His obituary lists a sister as well, Mrs. Ruby REESE of Toledo, OH.

?

I am hoping to get the photograph back to family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

?

Thanks,

Shelley

KEOSAQUA. There was a big white house next door. Just trying to find to add a
picture of the church. THANKS~~~
