HELLO! I hope everyone is doing well. It has been a bit since I put a note out, so trying to stay short, but you know how that goes!! First, we are coming up, Oct 4th, on the 1 year anniversary of Hammettes on the America's KC Wide Fusion room!! -no crying till the end-- SO I would love to have an extra sweet birthday celebration on the net 0ct 3rd. Mark your calendars, and stop by and say hi! You know we may start a bit early and go just a little long! Second, Hamfest season is upon us. I will be at Sparkfest in Sedalia Oct14th and Southside/Raytown Hamfest in Belton Nov 4th. Stop by and chat, hugs, and I always find goodies for us girls! Third on my list, we have a Facebook page, groups Io page, and I have a dedicated email for all things Hammettes related...PLEASE use them! I am going to list them below, but not just to chat with me, but for all of us to chat to each other off the air. No subject is off limits- well keep it P-G please. Fourth, I would like to give back to our Ham community and family. Looking for ideas. Giving tree at Christmas, food bank, book nook stock up, what could we girls all do to help our community. Something simple, so maybe all the ladies around the world could do it and tag it from us Hammettes. Send me your ideas! Fifth and last item, now we can cry together. THANK YOU! Withot the love and support from all the amatuer rado community, this would not have happened. I have so many to thank, but I said short- so you know who you are, I am talking about and to you! I have someone say how much they promote and tell ladies about us--- NOT just me---US the HAMMETTES! Yes there are many women's groups out there, I may just talk the loudest at the moment. But I am so proud of THIS group and all that we do to help and support each other. Humbled, honored and grateful for all the people that have come across my path and give me hope and love. This was a small idea 2 or 3 years ago, now I take emails and calls weekly asking about how the ladies are doing- WE are doing AMAZING! Welcome to the Hammettes KC group. Glad you found us. Please be patient with me, like most women, I have 12 things going on at one time and only 2 hands! I will respond as soon as I can.
