Request for nominations

Hello friends and HamPi / HamPC users!

If you have enjoyed using HamPi / HamPC and/or found HamPi / HamPC useful, would you please do me a huge favor and nominate me for my radio club's (GARS) Ham of the Year? I have spent the better part of three years continuously improving HamPi and HamPC and making this award-winning software free to all ham radio operators.

Yesterday marked the 17th release of HamPi and HamPC to the world, with the release of HamPi 3.1. There have been over 90,000 direct downloads of HamPi alone.

The nomination website is at:

According to GARS:

This is a prestigious award given each year by the club to recognize an outstanding member who has contributed to the club and Amateur Radio.

This past year has been really tough on everyone and although the GARS Family has had some activities, both in-person and remotely, we have not had a typical full force year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Still, we believe there are some GARS Members who have volunteered to assist the club in ways that have gone above and beyond. So, please put some thought into nominating a GARS member who has helped to maintain our operations, and to ham radio during this trying year.

(Bold is my emphasis.)

Your nomination would mean so much to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

-Dave, W3DJS, your friendly HamPi / HamPC curator
