Welcome to the Halverson Group

Jim Jackson

Welcome to 开云体育, our new home for genealogical discussions. This is an
exciting time with a very impressive website and the opportunity to rekindle
our communications and, perhaps, revive research that has been set aside for
a time.

Diane and I want to encourage you to make use of this group with your brick
walls, successes, questions and whatever answers you may have for others'
queries. To begin with, introductions are encouraged, including some
history about yourself etc.

We want you to enjoy being a part of this group and to be glad you joined in
the first place. If you have Facebook, Twitter or other connections where
you may spread the word about us, please feel free to do so. That will be a
great help as well.

Looking forward to hearing from you all,

Jim "Pops" Jackson and Diane Sowden

Thank you for continuing on the Halverson group! ?I’m Tamra and my ggg grandfather is Knud Halverson of Silverton and Philomath, Oregon after moving from North Dakota in the early 1900s. ?I just found his church birth records in Uvdal, Buskerud, Norway two days ago and with the help of some fabulous folks on Family Search.org have found his wife’s family back 14 generations. Awesome! ?My brick wall is his son named Oscar Halverson of Oregon. I am now looking for his descendents.?

I look forward to reacquainting with everyone.?
