Lorraine Keith All Messages By This Member #20 My gr-gr-grandfather was James Hall who was born in North Carolina about 1800. He moved to Grant County, Indiana and married Rachel Moorman in 1831. He died about 1855. His children were proven by the 1850 census along with Grant County probate records. I can list them if anyone is interested. ? James' parents may have been William Hall and Mary Hiatt who were married 1785 in Guilford County, Indiana. DNA matches, along with circumstantial evidence, leads me to believe that this is true. ?
