What I would appreciate is your synchronizing your WEB site with your actual inventory. There have been multiple tis when I've found something on your site only tobe told that they were unavailable.

Cheers!

Bruce,

that situation is very frustrating for us too. often, first thing in the morning after posting new stuff, when susan checks the order emails, there will be three people all wanting the same thing that was just posted. there is simply no good solution for the two later queries, we fill the first request, and have to decline the other two. how could I possibly fix that?

on a related note, we often get people who say they want something, but want us to put it aside while they look for other stuff.? we do that, and then they never take anything after weeks have gone by, and after multiple emails to them. we sell the original item, and then get flamed for "not holding it for them".? wow, that is beyond irritating, and it happens literally every single month, and is also frustrating for those that wanted the same item.

so, all I can say is that we try and keep that stuff page updated daily, but that happens at the end of the day, and many items can be gone by then. since I am the only guy doing all the web page creation and updating, and have a lot of other work to do, I can get only so much done during one day. my apologies for any inconvenience.

all the best,
walter

Give them a set time that you will hold something. Maybe seven days, to the minute. Post the message multiple places on your website, and in any replies. If they miss that date and someone else wants it, it's just their tough luck.
This reminds me of a sign that I saw as a kid in a Goodwill store back in the '60s: 'See it? today, buy it today. Gone tomorrow!

some folks are never happy no matter what you do and that cannot be fixed.
you do the best you can at being fair and reasonable, then move on.

Walter -
I do understand the issues you describe and I apologize for perhaps being overly critical. Additionally, most of my criticism is from some time ago.

We ALL have hot button issues, this is one of mine.

Cheers!
