Just looked in mine - R80 looks to be 820 ohms from the colour code and measures in circuit at 817 ohms but it is way bigger than 1/8 watt - more like a 1/2W metal film I would say the body was approx 9/10 mm long by 3.5/4.0 wide - it's a bit hard to measure down there!?

Hi David,

Looks like confusion over resistor IDs! I think your damaged resistor is R11 which looks like a 1.0 M Ohm - somewhat different from 820 Ohm!

Hi Adrian:

Many thanks for your picture, now I am sure the resistor which damaged is R11, it was my fault to confuse it with R80. I'm going to replace new one on my 8904A, thanks a again.
