Hi All,
Just picked up an HP 651B and have a few problems.
For one thing the unit seems to be extremely sensitive to the "band"
selector switch, and the 10MHz range in particular. Switching to it
results in flatline output, with jiggling finally getting it going.
Can anyone with experience with this unit offer any advice? Is this
a dirty switch contact, or am I looking at an issue where the osc.
does not start up.
This unit looks like someone besides HP has been inside with messy
soldering and melted insulation! Scarry!
A source of an electronic manual or "copiable" manual would be
greatly appreciated.
