HP Service Note availability
While there are a very few service notes floating around (including the ones sometimes available on the Keysight website) the vast majority are, as far as I can tell, not available either digitally of in print.? I see so many referenced in Bench Briefs and other places but have never been able to find more than a few.? Does anyone know if any more are available somewhere?
Thank you, Hal |

I agree, Service Notes are very hard to find. I have posted several requests in this forum in the past in search of the microfiche libraries that HP supposedly published. No success so far.
I did get some 5345A service notes from a group member a while back and scanned/posted them in the files section. Still many for the 5345A missing though that I haven't been able to locate. I have to believe that someone out there has a big library of service notes ... just a matter of finding the person! I offer my help to scan and posting ... Thank you, wschraml, KI7PFX |

*someone* has a binder full of them. The original??fundraiser had a comment with someone who had more than a binder full of HP related microfiche.?? Looks like the website has changed.? Does anyone remember or know who had posted that they have HP microfiche that can be scanned also? |
I do have part of a filing cabinet full of manual updates, service notes, bench briefs from my stint at HP, Agilent, and NGC. I will try to get an inventory of what I have and post it.? Then we will get scanned and posted what is needed, then get the remainder scanned and posted.? Most of it will be RF, Uwave, DMM, LCR ETE - that is what I was dealing with.? I have very little on the E series ETE and nothing on the N series ETE, and almost nothing on the very old RF gear (ie. 608C and earlier). Don Bitters |

And: A reminder that I will be more than happy to help scan the SM's - heck, I'll pay (reasonable) postage to send back and forth. My personal preference for the associated SN's (but not limited to) are the HP 3663A, 5335A, 5345A, 5245L, 3325A, 5105A, 5110B, 8640B, 8903A, 3456A, 3455A.? Again, while those are on the top of my personal list, I will of course help with any others that anyone wants. Thank you all again, Hal |
