HP 8360-Series Sweeper CLIP soon available on KO4BB

 

Dear all,

I just uploaded this (very rare) manual to KO4BB's website. It now needs to be verified and then will be available for download.
So all owners of a 83620 and variants will have this finally on their hand.

A big thanks to everybody that contributed!
If you find a mistake, please let me know.

In the folder 07 Recent uploads it is listed as but no to download

I think an alternative would be appreciated by many.

Just to let you know, I managed to download this CLIP last week using the filezilla ftp program to connect to ftp.ko4bb.com, logging in with login and password both set to "manualuploads", as per the note at the very bottom of KO4BB's ftp upload instructions page. ?I can't remember exactly, but I recall that I had to fiddle around with passive vs active ftp settings in filezilla to get it to connect and give a directory listing.

Hi Matt,

I saw the notes regarding ftp and I tried different ftp clients none
were able to list the directories.

All connect OK but when "dir" command is sent there is always a timeout.

One of the clients was of course Filezilla but no matter what I would
set it would still not list the directories.

Any chance you can make a screenshot of your Filezilla settings that work?

Yes, I had exactly the same problem. ?It would not get past sending the dir command. ?

The first thing I tried was extending the timeout to 180 seconds, after which it seemed to get a little bit further, but still no directory listing. ?
After some internet searching I tried changing the transfer mode to "Active", after which I got the directory listing and was able to download.?

I have attached some screenshots.

BTW, in retrospect, I don't think it was necessary to extend the timeout.

Hi Matt,

I tried your settings but still didn't work so what I did was to disable
the firewall on the laptop and connect directly to my router using a
secondary public IP address. Probably not very smart to have a laptop
connected with public IP without firewall on the internet but it was not
taking long time.

I tried different internet connections and none worked. Maybe NAT on the
firewall/router is somehow breaking the FTP connection...

Timeout is not necessary to be changed. When I use the public IP on the
laptop it is very fast the connection and also the download. I reached
around 3.9MB/s
