the HP83732A and HP83712B signal generators apparently have a built-in ALC correction that apparently can be modified by the user.
The programming manual documents this error message:
Else, there is no documentation about the CAL-command.
Does anybody know or suspect how the seven parameters are to be interpreted? These must define some kind of level correction curve.
Background: I have a dead low band detector and obviously the homebrew replacement has a somewhat different characteristic.
Also, the HP calibration software is not available. It would be nice to get the box calibrated again.

P.S. Is there really nobody out there who has an HP83712B and made a backup copy of the EPROMs?
