Walter,
I looked up your HP part number, 1884-0019, in my copy of the FedLog (Federal Logistics) database.
This is one of the first times it hasn't shown ANY equivalent part numbers and other manufacturers.
But it did have some technical descriptive data, which I'll paste below, in case it might be helpful.
Good luck!

Subject: Looking for obscure HP 1884- xxxx series parts
Hi,
does anybody have some spare TO-3 Hp 1884-0019 parts?
they are SCRs or Triacs used in power supply pre-regulators, RCA was
the manufacturer. I need either the real part number or
some HP parts if avaiable. Not listed anywher in my bench briefs, or
on line archives, so any help appreciated.
many thanks,
walter
