I¡¯m looking purchase a HP IC part # 1820-2312, IC Misc, Manufacturer Code 28480, Manufacture Part # 1DA9-2902 used in my HP 5316A Universal Counter.??

If anyone has one I would appreciate it just let me know price shipped if shipping required.

There are several on eBay if no-one has a parts unit. Here is one pretty reasonable .

There is another for the same price for about half the shipping, but not fully tested. Then you can keep your old one for spares or take the part you need from an eBay one. Regards ¨C Mike

What is the part? Is it an op amp etc....
The Manufactures code is the HP CAGE number, so no help
Maybe there is a substitute.

I'm sorry to have to tell you that you are probably stuck on this part. It is the "MRC" (Multi-Register Counter) chip, which is custom. Several people have looked for these over the years to resurrect 5315/5316 counters, and to my knowledge there has not been a solution other than to find a donor unit.
