Schematic for HP 16047B Test Fixture
Does anyone have (or has drawn) a schematic for the 16047B test fixture used with impedance analyzers?
Mine seems to have modifications. There is a drawing of the insides in the Operating Note 1600-90001 for the 16047A/B/C, 16048A/B/C, 16034B, and 16023B. See photo of the insides of my unit below this picture with the lid open. The two 470 uF capacitors are in series (+ to +) and in series with the HiCur connection. There are two banana sockets for bias I assume. There is a 1k 2W resistor in this line to the + of this bias input. The 8 diodes to ground on the LowCur connection is normal as are the two 0.27 ohm resistors in the HiCur & SPDT microswitch circuit. My sketch shows these two resistors as 20 ohm 10Watt so I will have to re-check. I will clean up my sketch and post it but would like to return the box to original HP design. |
Here is the schematic of my unit. It does not make a lot of sense to me. Any thoughts? The diodes I understand, the 20 ohm (0.27 ohm according to the parts list) I don't, especially the one off the uSwitch Note that Ground is not to any of the BNC connections, except their grounds.
