Hey guys,
I'm missing the button cover on my HP 8752C. I know I'm not the only one with this issue and I know they're close to impossible to find.
Is anyone willing to measure it and take some photos from above, side, etc, so I can model it in a 3D program? I would then share the design and everyone missing it, can print it.
Perhaps a volunteer with two network analyzers, one with a missing button cover?

The cover itself, it goes over all the buttons.

I just realized I wasn't specific enough, sorry for that, but I
hope the image I attached cleared up any confusions.

Dr. David Kirkby from Kirkby Microwave Ltd
Your could try asking on /g/Test-Equipment-For-Sale-Wanted-or-Exchange/ to see if anyone has one to see - you might even get it free! I suspect that the same button iis used on various bits of test equipment. It looks llike the same as used on the 8753, 8720_ 4291B.

I designed this very basic one for my HP 8753
Also I found this one. It is just the button cover and looks much better than mine:

I certainly need a button cover for my 8753C. If anyone decides to print and sell these, please let me know.
By the way — is button spacing the same on all versions of the VNA? (For some reason that I no longer recall, I thought that the vertical spacing between my buttons was narrower than another 8753 that I saw. But I could be wrong.)
Thanks,
- Jeff

I've been following ebay for the past year and none popped up.

That's a great find!
I don't need the entire frame, just the button cover, so I'll
print the second one.
I'll post pictures when it's done.
Thanks!

The cover changed starting with the 8753C model (color display).

It fits, has maybe 1mm of play.
Color wise, it needs a darker gray filament, otherwise it seems
ok.
@Jeff, You could use a 3d hub near you to print it.

Very nice :)?
One other thing I just remembered is that the rubber membrane keyboard on an 8752x fits the 8753C - apart from one or two unimportant key labels. I have an 8752 membrane on mine.

Razvan, thanks very much. I’ve never heard of a 3D hub, but google shows there is one near me, in Mountain View, CA.
Looks like I need to specify the material with which it should be printed (e.g. Formlabs standard resin, Formlabs color, or eSUN PLA+). Any thoughts from those who have actually done 3D printing?

If there's a price difference, go for the one that costs the least, but most importantly, see what colors they have available - maybe you can get the exact shade of gray.

Hey Mike,
That's the one I printed. It fits well, but the color's not
right. I'm still looking the a spool of the right color.
