I am trying to suss out the UFC RAM Upgrade for the 35670a DSA. ?Know you can have as much as 12MB installed, I think 4 of those are onboard as there only two expansion slots on the memory board of which both of mine are empty. ?I have found a few internet sales that show pictures of the modules and put them in the photo album here:
Most of the pics are with 72-pin modules that have 8 chips and one missing on the middle of the module. ?Others have two large chips, one on each end of the module. ?Some similar RAM modules have different speeds like 60, 70, or 80ns. ?Some are defined with or without parity. ?Not educated enough in all of the aspects and the research is getting daunting.
I am not very experienced in matters of RAM, other than having to replace a few along the way. ?But those were for modern machines with modern RAM. ?This stuff is MUCH older than that and I just want to find the correct modules to do the upgrade. ?I am hoping this is a simple find it, buy it, and install it kind of an operation.
Can anyone shed some light on this topic please?
