Hi all....I'm working on a 3 GHz 8752C network analyzer. It's like an HP 8753 but only does half of the S parameters. It has a Reflection port where the source comes out and a Transmission port where the output of the DUT would attach.
The issue is that it fails test 27 - Sys Ver Tests. It fails the Source Match (Trans Mode) test. I have replaced or moved all three samplers and replaced the coupler and source. None of these altered the failure. The trace always is about the same crossing the limit at about 600MHz and rising to about 12dB out of limit at 3 GHz.
I could use a better understanding of what the test is, and what affects it. So far, I have not been able to affect it much at all.
Note that all the adjustments were made and were successful. I have re-run test 53 - Freq Response Adj after every sampler change....
