HP8708A Synchronizer

vk2kyp

Hi All,
Can anyone help me, I am looking for data on a HP8708A Synchroniser.
I understand it can be used to stabilize a HP606b and late model
HP608's.
I generates a DC voltage which is used to changed the reverse bias
on varacter diode. This is used as a fine frequency control, and is
referenced back to a crytsal oscillator in the HP8708A. This is
about all I know, any futher information is appreciated.

Thank you Gary Beech VK2KYP

***Gary and the list.
The correct synchroniser for the HP 606B and the HP 608F is indeed the HP
8708A.I will email you the specification page from the manual. The
synchronizer works on the huff and puff oscillator stabilization principle
and is extremely accurate and stable after initial warm up.
