HP3310A maintenance
Unless you can find a parts donor, or pay for a rewind, the only other option would be to look for two separate transformers.
One with 2x15V secondary windings and a second with 2x30V secondary windings. Is there enough space inside for this? Of course you would need to figure out the transformer power ratings required for each. David |
For the two transformer replacement solution, Hammond makes several 56VCT models that would work and cost around 10-12 USD each and numerous 28VCT/30VCT models for the same or less.? Probably 100-200 mA for the 56VCT and 200-300mA for the 28/30VCT would be plenty.? There should be room but, of course, new mounting holes would need to be used.? Or, you could consider getting rid of the transformers and the A4 filter board altogether and just use a couple of AC/DC modules - probably fed through linear regulators to allow for a less expensive starting voltage.? Of course the absolute best solution is a parts unit - they seem to appear on ePay fairly regularly - I have four that I gave around $70 or so each for but they are all working - a parts unit should be available for not much more than the actual repair parts would cost, it would just mean waiting a while until something came available.

开云体育If finding space for two transformers is an issue,? consider a couple of toroidal types, I sometimes mount one in '120VAC-only' powered devices to use in 240VAC land by using the primary winding as an autotransformer (ignoring the secondary). For a given VA rating they are relatively small and easy to mount with a single bolt and I can usually find somewhere to tuck it in.On 24/05/2024 14:28, factory wrote:
