Having repaired the 8712 I'd like to add the LAN option.?
I know you can pull the ROM and reflash it but don't have the hardware for that.
I've heard a rumor its possible using GPIB commands or possibly another method without pulling it all apart again!

Or just post your serial number and I can give you the keyword to enable the option, along with opt 100 and 1C2.? Much easier and safer!
