Re: new File called App notes
I think you are right on that Dave!? I *know* he knows about APP Notes.... I'm pretty sure he got a LOT of them a number of years ago when he helped me clean out my barn where I had literally hundreds of HP manuals that I rescued from when "the powers that be" decided to scrap our entire collection of manuals at the Dayton HP office (now quite a few years ago).? When we got word of it, Tom Holmes and I loaded both of our cars with them and made several trips to my place where at least I had some space to store them.? Couldn't stand to see them go to the dumpster, which is where they were headed for.

You don't need to swap the ROMs because all the option software is contained in the base firmware.? Regards Jan Bill E <solartron@...> schrieb am Sa., 18. I am not sure what you mean by an app note ..please give an example. In my world an App is just another word ( millennial speak) for a "program". A lot like Hz replaced Cycle. Since 95% of those on this list are old enough to remember cycles do you want us to load equipment related programs uyo your App folder? Re: HP 8640 REPAIR
Hi If its the output hybrid one of the differences is the maximum operating frequency. At first the output module was limited to 500MHz and you had to replace it when the the doubler stage was added to take the frequency range to 1GHz. As far as I know there is no difference in operating voltage. George G6HIG On Saturday, 18 April 2020, 17:36:05 BST, Don Humphrey <dscc1947@...> wrote: I am trying to repair a USM-323 Sig Generator. Re: Do ManualsPlus still exist
Apparently there was an effort made to preserve their inventory. Found an interesting article about this: The article was written in 2015, dunno what has happened since then. /John On Sat, Apr 18, 2020, 8:10 AM Paul Bicknell <paul@...> wrote: Hi Dave |
