Generation gap is not a problem here, but a great merit to romantic
singles right here.

Hello folks.
?
My name is Robert. Please allow me a few minutes of your time, thank you. Is there anyone in the group who can point me in the direction of finding one or perhaps a few pieces of?some HP equipment and the manuals for them too??
?
Below is the list of what I am looking for, some are of military origin and others are commercial. I prefer working units if possible and also the plug in modules too. I appreciate any leads and help I am able to receive. Thanks for your time and have a nice day.
?
Respectfully, Robert
?
p.s. Here is a list of the models I am looking for, and I am not picky either. Thanks again everyone. Oh, I myself run accross alot of newer and older HP equipment, probes, and manuals too so drop a line and let me know what you are in need of and I will do what I can to be of service to you folks.
?
These are all old oscilloscopes, (heavy and beautiful pieces of engineering) and depending on the price of the unit I am willing to pay the shipping cost.
?
OS-82A/USM-105
OS-121A/USM-140
OS-121C/USM-140
OS-121D/USM-140
HP-H12-175A
HP 185A
?
Plug in modules are;
?
MX-2930C/USM
MX-2930D/USM
?
I know I have another list with other models of these HP Oscilloscopes and the HP modules too however I am not able to locate it at this time, (duh). If anyone of you folks has one of these, or even a few of them or if you know where I can locate one or more be they working or not please contact me. Thanks again and you and yours take care.

Hi Jim,

Thanks. Functionally it looks a lot like a 7475 except that the
pinouts don't match.

Cheers

Hi all,
I made an adaptor for a 7475 to 1820-0090 to fix the pinouts.
The enable pin's logic is inverted so a 1 transistor inverter fixed
that.
It looks like the 1820-0090 is RTL. HP's drive circuit was a 360pF
buffered by an emitter follower without a pulldown. 1 x TTL load
stuffed it up. It was already driving 7 other 1820-0090 chips.
Adding the transistor inverter solved the loading gremlin.

If anyone is interested in the fine details I have a .GIF file
detailing the mods.

Cheers
Ian Du Rieu

Its function is "buffer storage" and it sits between
a decade counter
& a decoder driver chip.

In my search I came across

which has heaps of HP semicond/IC cross reference

unfortunately doesn't include the 1820-0090.

HP 3320B

I have HP signal generator model 3320B with option 004 that works
very well. However I don't know how to use the BCD programming
connector at the rear. If anyone in this group has experience and/or
information about how to use the remote programming I would like to
take part of that.

Hi George -
Although these analyzers are vintage they still remain very popular. The parts are readily avalable and usually quite cheap. We have several variations avalable if you are interested. You can call us at 856-273-1000 M-F 8:00-5:00 EST.

Hello Group:

I started a collection of Tektronix gear but have developed an interest in HP's assortment of spectrum analyzers. The 141T seems to offer the biggest variety and seems to be readily available on eBay. I'm interested in general comments about these instruments. Are they servicable, are parts generally available in generic form? Any recommendations?
Thanks for your comments.
