Today¡¯s Canada Entry Requirements
Canada reopened to vaccinated Americans on Aug 9, 2021. Currently, only American citizens and permanent residents are allowed to visit Canada from abroad. Nationals from other countries will be tentatively allowed to enter starting Sept. 7, 2021. That said, you must fulfill a handful of entry requirements in order to enter Canada without mandatory quarantine. You??if you can prove the following: - You¡¯re fully vaccinated and received your last dose at least 14 days prior to entry.
- You bring a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of your flight¡¯s scheduled departure to Canada.
- You show no signs of COVID-19.
- Have a quarantine plan in place if you do not qualify for the quarantine exemption.
Currently, the Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are accepted by the Canadian government. It¡¯s worth noting that antigen rapid tests are not accepted as proof of entry, so make sure you get a PCR, LAMP or other accepted test within 72 hours of departure. Check out??for more information. -- Everett Curry W6ABM

They will probably, very grudgingly, bring back ¡®restrictions¡¯ around here at some point. I can¡¯t wait for the fireworks, both virtual and real. Groan, Mac (relegated to the fairly (but highly reactionary) Deep South. May go back to CT until things cool down)

We've put $800.00 to hold our dates (20%). The remaining funds ($3,200.00) will be due on July 13, 2022. That's $800.00 each.? When the time comes, I'll send the funds to Ken and you can each reimburse me.

The dates for my tentative Curacao/PJ2T trip are March 22nd through 28th 2022. Operating PJ2/WT4BT from night of 22nd to morning of Friday the 25th when we gear up for the WPX contest. With sightseeing built in during the week. Monday the 28th may have a bit more casual operating before packing up for early AM departure on Tuesday.
Of course all depends on status of ¡°The Virus¡±, entry/exit requirements, flights, etc.
More as it nears,
