PE/DXLodge 2025
Very belatedly (I got badly sidetracked by life), the trek to Prince Edward for the July 23 to August 4 timeframe is a “GO” for Lynn and me.

Re: October 30 Meeting AND CALENDAR Discussion
I hit send too early...
?
I'm going on the assumption Ken WILL QUALIFY.? I think that allows us to use
the July 23-August 4, dates.
?
My concern was we're needing to wait so long to make travel plans. I tend to think
longer term!? It's a strength and a weakness.

We have calendar options for Prince Edward Island that do not require waiting until March.? We can use:
? ? ?Option A - June 25-July 7, 2025 for a two-week trip, includes RAC Canada Day July 1.
? ? ?Option B - July 23-August 4, 2025 for a two-week trip, includes RSGB IOTA; Flight of the Bumble Bees (QRP, CW); NAQP CW; 10-10 Summer SSB.
?
Our On-Site Cost for either session is:
? ? ?One Operator? ? $2,000
? ? ?Two Operators? ? 3,000 (1,500 each)
? ? ?Three Operators? 4,000 (1,334 each)
? ? ?Four Operators? ? 5,000 (1,250 each)
?
I'd like to get on Ken's calendar before year-end, thinking we might get ahead of any increase in on-site coat. The reservation requires 20% within 30 days of committing, for four of us on two-week basis that's $1,000.? When we commit I can get a check to Ken to secure our reservation.? I'd prefer to receive your portion ($250) by December 31.? The remainder will be due to Ken either May 23 or June 20 depending on which date option we choose.? Again, I can provide the required $4,000 to Ken and receive your share ($1,000) about the same date. If you need to cancel after we place our deposit, I think it would be refunded. However, it affects the total paid by the remainder of the group.
?
We'll be eight months out when we meet this month.? I'm keeping an eye on flights and see some pretty good prices into Boston MA from Portland OR.? Cars are better than last time!
?
It's beginning to feel real again!? My big challenge is finding coverage for Barbara for this long a time.? An early decision to nail down our dates will help me.
I'm hoping all four of us will commit!

开云体育I’ll have our “Preliminary” choice out later today, we’ve got a med-trip today that will last us until evening.I “think” my initial preference would be option B, but in being in-country as portables/visitors might be fun for RAC. Later, Mac/WT4BT
