Re: GPS for ICT
Hi, I saw that pin 7 of atgm336h is not connected and pin 6 is Vbat on a PCB of Yo3ICT 6,5 is not connected. datasheet says 7 NC but on ICT is connected to VCC? is that the problem? Jan wrote:

Re: telemetry channel
I think I understood what the problem was. Heavy snowfalls interfered with the operation of GPS

Please apologize. I supposed Mikael wrote me message about our previous email. For Mikael: now I can confirm, this is the effect of Etna's dust! Have a nice evening all. Roberto Il Gio 25 Feb 2021,

Re: telemetry channel
Consider I used 46mm long beginning from the top vias, where you see the soldering. I tested many times the pcb outside, with integrated gps antenna, but that didn't work. I also switched power off

Re: telemetry channel
everything seems to be fine

Re: telemetry channel
That GPS antenna looks way to long, it should only be 46mm long.

Hi.?I am using a 3.3 volt arduino stabilizer. the arduino board is connected to the USB. antenna - a guitar string, all this is in the open air outside the window

Re: telemetry channel
Hi, I have never seen this behavior under countless hours of testing and flying the firmware, first thing that strikes me is that the board might have lost gps sync, how are you testing it? maby put

Re: telemetry channel
The first few hours the tracker works fine, then it starts transmitting every 2 minutes. I tried both original firmware and Mikael's firmware, no difference. This may be due to the fact that I use

Hi, that "Antenna Open" is ok, make sure pin 5 floats or/and that its not pulled low, any pics of the setup or schematic?

Re: HABalloon Project
Yes, this will work fine with the ICT code/tracker and also most likely with the upcomming qrp-labs wspr board. /Mikael

I am getting "Antenna Open" in the ATGM $GPTXT string. I do have an antenna connected and am not using an external LNA so is this correct? The ATGM is not seeing any sats. I have tried several

Re: GPS for ICT
I have checked the atgm module to 64km altitude with Hack RF and it tracks all the way up there, as Mikael said, without high altitude strings being sent to the gps. Dave VE3KCL

Re: GPS for ICT
I have been using the ATGM without issue, no setting needed to allow high altitude operation. Power saving by Power off the gps and leaving battery backup powered works well. Cheers Kev

Re: GPS for ICT
Hi Jan , the atgm gps module are plug and play, just remove all lines containing any gps strings in the code and it will work great! :) /Mikael
