The DASDLOAD without the -a switch works fine. But the -z switch is more important. That's reducing the size of the disk image file enormous. Cheers, Rob

The channel has to be able to talk to the DASD in order to access it. Also, your DASDLOAD wont work .. a pack needs to have alternate cylinders. When you DASDLOAD, you have to specify the -a switch.
