If an IPL does not fix the issue, just copy the particular DASD Page Hercules file in question from the distribution. ?
While not a scientific solution, it is low risk. I have used this solution in one or two cases over the last several years.?
I suggest backing up all the Hercules DASD files periodically ¡ª disk space is cheap these days. Maybe you are already doing that? ?If so, I apologized for the suggestion.?
