APL
After reading about MUSIC/SP I found out that it had an APL interpreter/compiler; but I couldn't find much information about its implementation, i.e. which subset of features are supported, etc other than it seems to be based on VS APL ( )
Does anyone has more information, and/or could help me get MUSIC/SP running on linux, with networking, does VS APL or MUSIC/SP require a license? Thank you for reading. |
From my reading of the MUSIC documentation, there were TWO versions of APL - one was specific to Music/SP, the other was VS-APL from IBM.

The APL version from IBM was considered better or more complete; at least that is what I think was implied. I might have read this in the online help files? Or am I mistaken? Cordially Patrick ----- Original Message -----
