Yahoo Transfer - do members on group.io need to accept transfer #yahoo #transfer

When we? transfer our Yahoo membership to group.io, do the group.io members need to "accept" membership or are they automatically enrolled in group.io.? ?(We have a number of older people and I am worried that the step of accepting membership would not happen easily.)?

An account is created for each member transferred.? If they only use email, they're done.? If they want to use the site, for files and such, see /g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/Logging-In? You can include a link to that page if you want since it's accessible to the public.

I think you want to say not when you talk about this to your members.?

Have you given your members advance warning of the migration to Groups.io? That will help reduce the risk of "what's all this about"?

To more closely answer your question...
No.? Transferred members do not need to accept anything.? The transfer agent does not use an invitation. It just does a direct subscription for each member.
