X-No-Archive header

After a recent migration from Yahoo, a group member has pointed out that Groups.io does not support the X-No-Archive header - I was wondering what the position on this is?

Thanks,
Graham.

X-No-Archive is really only needed for Usenet posts where they can be
archived by various places (like Google or Narkive).

Although Mailman supports it for its archive, I'm not aware of any other
mailing list software that does. It has little point in a YG/GIO
environment as the message writer can always delete their own messages anyway.

I've seen the case made that it indicates that recipients do not have
permission to archive the email, and as such, doing so is a copyright
violation. As such, its has uses far beyond that of Usenet.

FWIW, Yahoo Groups does support it. Or at least did last time I tested it. Which is getting to be a few years ago now...

Indeed yes; the Yahoo group did support X-No-Archive and one of our group members is disappointed that now we have migrated Groups.io doesn't support it.
