Trouble opening files here that do open in Yahoo
开云体育We can’t always see the extensions on our file titles. How can we make them visible? I mean like .doc, .txt and so on. One owner, using a PC is unable to open most of our files. She went back to Yahoo and those same files opened perfectly. She has Windows 10. We are trying to see if there is a pattern here.?I am using a Mac and not having trouble opening files in??and I can see the extensions for the most part. There are a few older files where I see no extension. Thank you Susan B |

You can edit the file to include that.? Many (all?) browsers and operating systems allow you to set up default associations so that a particular program is used to open certain file extensions.? If none has been set up for a given situation, nothing happens. 开云体育DuaneI need to check further on this business of her seeing extensions. Maybe I misunderstood her. But I do know for sure she says there are many files she can open at yahoo but when she tries at groups io they won’t open. And we can’t figure out why.? 开云体育Oh — That is a distinction I hadn’t thought of - opening in the browser vs. having to download. I’ll check that too. Thanks for bringing that up.On Nov 22, 2019, at 2:11 PM, Duane <txpigeon@...> wrote: On Fri, Nov 22, 2019 at 01:07 PM, Susan B wrote: there are many files she can open at yahoo but when she tries at groups io they won’t open.
