saving yahoo email

I have 10 years of important email in my yahoo group that i need saved.? I do not care about the cost - I just need to save them in some way.? I also sent email to tech support asking how to do this.? No replay yet, but it has been less then 24 hours since my email.

Anyone here know how or where I can get help saving the past yahoo email?? Even if I can not attach it to I/O, I need to save it.

Help appreciated.

If cost is no object, you can have your messages -- and most other accessible Yahoo?Group content -- transferred to your groups.io group in return for a year of Premium ($110). Subscribers are also transferred, maintaining ownership of each message and other group content.

Any attachments to messages will be lost, though.

See?/g/GroupManagersForum/message/8697?for step-by-step instructions.

I'm sure he is busy doing transfers for his paying customers at the moment. Generally, support redirects routine questions like this to GMF.?

If you are unwilling to pay the $110 for a transfer -- and you have a lot of spare time on your hands -- there are other options to download and save content from Yahoo Groups. Shal has previously mentioned three options in the following post:??/g/GroupManagersForum/message/19204?. I have used PG Offline successfully in the past, and Robert has given detailed instructions on how to use the Chrome browser add-on in?/g/GroupManagersForum/message/19222?.

The problem is what to do with the message archive once downloaded; as there is really no good way to re-upload it to groups.io, to re-link individual messages to their owners, or to provide online message search capability. Perhaps the best option is simply to print the collection of old messages to a PDF file; at which point you can upload that to the files area of your group. That will give you something, even if it isn't conveniently indexed and searchable.?

Hope this helps,
Bruce

Check out also for archival purposes while also migrating to GIO

I paid the $110.00 Then I started the transfer.? Normally, will I/O move over all my email?? If they will then problem solved.

They did say something about yahoo not working well, and maybe they would not be able to transfer everything over.? What do I do if not all the email comes over?

Linda, that you for the link to

I will check it out.

Bruce, do you have any thoughts on saving all my email?? I would like it to appear in the I/O group after i moves over.

Thanks everyone for the help.
