New Members only see new messages

 

Is it? possible to allow new members to only see and have access to new messages after they join?
Currently new members who join have access to the history of messages and I would like to limit it to only new messages.
?

For a group used by a Board or committee, you can delete old messages if they are no longer necessary.
And you can download the message archive for future reference.?

It would be useful to be available to move the message archive to a subgroup where you can restrict the access. However that is not possible at this point.
