Membership Metrics

 

Hi All.......
Is there any means, in a Gio group, for the Owner to interrogate the Membership list and Messages to conclude WHO has posted this year, and how many times......other than the obvious hard way by hand.....or the one by one "all messages from this member" thing.

This to show me which members make the most posts to the group, and when.....a measure of their interest.

That's very kind of you to point that out.? And very silly of me to think that things might have improved in three months and "I" not notified.

If something is wrong that can have serious effects, it's usually fixed within a matter of hours once It's been reported.? Feature suggestions, once posted on beta, get added to the pile and may or may not be implemented.? There was a feature added a couple of months ago that I requested in late 2015, so no need to get impatient.? The best way, I think, to keep up with things is to read the #Changelog on this group when it's posted.? Even better is to follow the beta group, but I know that not everyone will do that.

Thanks for the response Duane, but I have not the spare time to follow other lists/logs to see if my needs have been addressed.? Some are written way above my pay grade and most beta posts are so verbose that I fall asleep reading them.? When I have a need, I check to see if it's available rather than reading a lot of unrelated stuff to see if it's been implemented.? ?Sometimes I have the same need more than once and find need to ask of it's existence more than once.

In that case, you should find your previous topic and ask for an update instead of starting another one. Or even make a bookmark for it (this one).? I don't see anything on the beta group where you've asked for this feature, but I guess you may have sent it to support.? I don't believe Mark would even consider something like this if only one person asked for it, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

You could follow the hashtag #changelog on this group to see if/when there's any mention of something like this being done.
